Chocolate Guinness Sauce

One Year Ago: Homemade Chocolate Pudding

I wanted to do something a little different with my Guinness so I decided to try and make a chocolate sauce. It turned out delicious and on top of vanilla ice cream it was heaven….yum!Ā  I used bittersweet chocolate and sweetened it a bit with golden syrup and brown sugar. The Guinness flavor was mild but mixed with the chocolate it paired nicely. I have a feeling if I used Guinness extra stout it would have picked up more of the beer flavor.Ā  Either way I would say I’m satisfied with my first ever ice cream topping and can’t wait to make more…Enjoy!!!
